Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes in the Granada series from the late 80s.
The picture I used as reference was from the episode 'The Norwood Builder' just as Holmes was starting to think Lestrade had gotten the better of him. Watson was trying to cheer him up with a cup of tea at the time I think.
I had a hard time with this because I was watching the show and crying over Jeremy Brett. The world lost such a great actor years before his time, and it took me 13 years to find out. *cries*
With all the beautiful art pencils I have, I ended up using a bunch of mini pencils I stole from Ikea for this. It must have been funny to see me stuffing my pockets with pencils. *headbang*
Thank You Very Much! It is nice to hear that there are other people out there just discovering him too. It is just proof at how much of a genius he truly was.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
